Description Title: Pilot Production Technician I
Location: MD, Gaithersburg - Corporate Headquarters
Req: 02102

Position Summary:

Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others):

Proficient in the operation of all area specific production equipment such as filtration devices, glass washers, CIP skids, autoclaves, fixed tanks, etc.

Weighs and checks raw materials, assembles and cleans process equipment, monitors processes.

Responsible for the preparation of buffer and media solutions.

Completes production records and maintains clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsible for completion of Solution Preparation Records and Standard Operating Procedures as needed to accurately reflect process steps and capture process data.

Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.

Works on routine manufacturing assignments per written procedures, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

Normally receives general instructions on routine work and general instructions on new assignments.

Has good interpersonal skills, is attentive and approachable. Discusses problems with colleagues and senior personnel.

Maintains a professional and productive relationship with supervisor and co-workers.

Works under periodic supervision from the area supervisor.


 

Position Requirements  

Educational Requirements Requirements/Qualifications:

Education: Requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or a B.S. degree in a scientific discipline with 0 - 1 year relevant experience.

Experience: Requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or a B.S. degree in a scientific discipline with 0 - 1 year relevant experience.
