Description Title: Project Coordinator II
Location: CA, Mountain View - NON SALES
Req: 02087

Position Summary:

Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others):
• Process and evaluate incoming supply requests from Clinical Sites
• Create and maintain related trackers and analyze data trends
• Communicate routinely with CS&DM Project Coordinators regarding delivery of non-drug related supplies
• Represent Project Supply activities at departmental sub-team meetings
• Review, comment and may approve study sample documents as related to laboratory supplies
• Communicate requirements for new and ongoing studies, prepare and review work orders, coordinate timelines, verify vendor web-based ordering system is operational and accurate and process all supply requests
• Identify requirements and process documents required for international shipments
• Coordinate procurement of MedImmune supplied items for supply vendor
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes and track action items
• May conduct training of CS&DM staff on assigned topics
• Independently identifies areas for process improvements both internally and with vendor and implement approved changes
 

Position Requirements Special Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (including negotiation and presentation skills)
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in completing work assignments
Builds positive collaborative relationships with internal MedImmune staff and supply vendor
Experience with Microsoft based applications

Job Complexity:
Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules
Maintain processes, propose improvements and implement approved changes

Supervision:
Works under supervision
Work is carefully reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy

(supervision required, level of independence)
Education Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree + minimum of 3 years or equivalent experience in a related setting (clinical, project management, or laboratory)

Experience: General application of principles, theories and concepts. Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices and standards.
